SiamSmile: Welcome to my website

Today's date -

Important Notice July 2021: Webs.com who host this website announced in early 2021 that they were ending their free web hosting services on 31/03/21. After that date this site would no longer exist at this web address. I have been with them for a number of years but decided to move the site to new free servers at Netlify. If you click on the Netlify link you will see the site already up and mirrored there.
However, the end date for this site at webs.com (31/03/21) has long since passed and if you're reading this page you will of course see it's still up and running here!
I don't know if Webs.com have changed their minds and the site will remain up here or it will still go off line at some future indeterminate date of their choosing.
Whatever happens, update your bookmarks to the new Netlify link so you know where to look if it's the latter.
I will endeavour to update the site here as long as Webs.com keep it on their servers. If it goes off line, see you over at the new site at Netlify.
Finally I would like to thank all visitors to this site for their continued support and helpful feedback over the years and also webs.com for hosting this site up to now.

This website is centered around the general theme of Thailand, with a particular focus on Thai language and culture.

Whether it's Thai particles, those little words Thais use all the time but dictionaries never tell you about, or Thailand's famous Loi Gratong festival, this is the website for you.

There's also a section on Isaan dialect, the language spoken by roughly 1/3 of Thailand's population when they're not speaking Thai.

Whatever your interest, I hope you enjoy reading this site at least half as much as I enjoyed making it.

More pages will be added as time and circumstance permit.

Enjoy!
